John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course

John Thompson is broken into three levels that will bring a student to a traditional level 2B method and prepare them for Level 1 of the PROJECTPIANO syllabus. Advantages of John Thompson's Method:

• Level 1 is broken into units that teach 1 note per lesson in the middle C position alongside accidentals, note values and notation, and other basic theory components

• Level 2 introduces low C and high C positions as well as playing basic chords and keys

• Level 3 builds upon level 2 by introducing scales, arpeggios, keys, chords and more hand positions

Note: there is a fourth level to John Thompson's that I do not regularly use due to moving to the PROJECTPIANO syllabus. This is equivalent to a level 3 method
